Labor Law
We represent employers in labor relations that include collective bargaining, unfair labor practice charges, and grievance arbitration. Anybody can claim to be “tough” or “aggressive” with representing clients on union matters. Our goal, everyday, is to be effective: attain the client’s objectives as quickly and inexpensively as possible. We apply this principle whether we are at the bargaining table, working with the NLRB Region or an arbitrator, an Administrative Law Judge, or the Board in Washington, D.C. To learn more, see our page on labor law.
Employment Law
We defend the rights of employers in actions arising in the workplace, including claims of discrimination under state or federal law, wage and hour claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act, allegations of retaliation, and violation of state or federal worker protection statutes, such as the FMLA or the ADA. We also prepare and litigate non-compete and confidentiality agreements. See our page on employment law for additional information.
Healthcare Law
We represent medical staffs and medical professionals in credentialing disputes, in addition to healthcare professionals in licensing and disciplinary matters. For additional information, visit our page on healthcare law.
Litigation
We represent businesses in all phases of commercial and business litigation, from construction disputes to shareholder and partnership disagreements, and from commercial lease disputes to securities broker/dealer actions. We also have experience with a wide range of issues arising under the Uniform Commercial Code. Please see our page on business litigation.
